What can I do in the GNE app?

We’ve designed our app with you in mind, to give you easy access to your home energy on the go.

Click on the ‘Usage’ tab at the bottom of the app to get an overview of your home’s average energy use.

You can view your usage for electricity and/or gas in either pounds or kWh.

Non-smart customer can view monthly and yearly usage trends. If you’re a smart meter customer, you can view daily, monthly or yearly usage trends.

Please note that without regular meter readings, your usage data may not be exact. We recommend sending us monthly meter readings to keep your energy data up to date.

  1. Log in to the app
  2. Click ‘My account’ at the bottom of the screen
  3. Click ‘Bills & Payments’
  4. Click ‘download’ to get your energy bill straight on your device

You can also view your previous payment history by scrolling down. If your account balance is in credit, your payments will show up in green (like in the image below). If your account balance is in debit, it will show in red.

Our app is a fast and easy way to submit your meter readings – sending monthly meter readings helps to make sure you pay the right amount for your energy.

1. Log in to the app
2. Click the ‘Meter reading’ tab at the bottom of the screen
3. Click ‘Submit new meter reading’
4. Choose between electricity or gas
5. Select the date of the meter reading
6. Enter your meter reading into the box
7. Click ‘Submit’

You can also search for and view your previous meter readings.

To manage your notifications:

  1. Log in to the app
  2. Click ‘My account’ at the bottom of the screen
  3. Click ‘My notifications’ under Settings
  4. Use the toggle button to turn notifications on/off

Refer your friends and family to Green Network Energy and once they switch over, you’ll both receive credit on your account! Terms & Conditions apply.

To refer your friends:

  1. Log in to the app
  2. From the home screen, scroll down to the Referrals box
  3. Click ‘Share with friends’
  4. Share your personal link via email, text, or through your social media

Please note that it normally takes 23 days for the referral credit to show up in your account. You can also see your total rewards and how many people you’ve referred under ‘Referrals’ in ‘My Account’.

View a summary of your tariff information by:

  1. Logging in to the app
  2. Clicking ‘My account’ at the bottom of the screen
  3. Clicking ‘My tariff’

View your account number and meter serial numbers by:

  1. Logging in to the app
  2. Clicking ‘My account’
  3. Clicking ‘My details’
  4. Clicking ‘Account details’
