Problems with meter reads – Read Disputes
If you think the opening reads we have used are incorrect (they could be estimated or you accidentally submitted the read incorrectly) simply let us know and we can open what’s called a "read dispute".
We will get in touch with your previous supplier and propose a more accurate transfer reading for your switch. Read disputes can take up to 12 weeks, but don’t worry, we will keep you updated with any progress.
We won’t be billing you while the dispute is ongoing but we will continue to take payments to cover your charges for the period.
