Do I need to provide regular reading(s)? When?
Yes, regular readings help us provide you with an accurate bill.
For this reason, we recommend you to send monthly meter readings. However, you are free to provide meter readings as often as you like.
If you provide readings in the 5 days before your billing period ends, we’ll be able to use this to close the billing period or improve any estimate that is needed.
If you are unsure of when your billing period ends, either check a previous invoice or give our customer care team a call at 0800 520 0101, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm and they will be able to advise you.
If we don’t receive your readings or we’ve already started to produce your bill/statement before we get your reading, then we will calculate an estimate.
If we do use estimates, then providing us with reads after you’ve received your bill/statement will help us adjust your usage on your next bill/statement.
